Manitowoc-lattice-boom crawler cranes, Potain tower cranes, Grove mobile hydraulic cranes and National Crane articulating and telescoping cranes are built, sold and serviced at multiple locations in five continents. For maximum functionality and value, nearly all MANITOWOC CRANE GROUP products have been engineered as modular base units, available with add-on components that can be quickly added to expand their role. Finally, each product has been designed with features that meet the requirements of differing regions, including international transportation regulations, operational simplicity and efficient performance in even the most challenging environments.

The heritage of Manitowoc Cranes dates to 1925, when the company built its first lattice boom crawler cranes at its facility in Manitowoc, Wis., USA. Since that time, the very name ‘Manitowoc’ has come to symbolize crawler cranes, and the company’s trademark red machines can be found in every corner of the globe. Manitowoc has become the industry leader in innovation, sales, performance and support.

Today’s company offers 11 units, ranging in capacity from 45 t (50 USt) to 907 t (1000 USt). In addition to Manitowoc, Wis., the cranes are built at the company’s facility in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, in keeping with the Group philosophy of producing cranes tailored for specific markets.

In response to customer demand, the company manufactures not only a range of lift cranes but also duty-cycle crawler cranes and wheeled cranes for special industrial and marine applications.
